Yep, you got it, more Christmas!

Here's another creation from the In the Meadow set from PTI, I think I could get by with this set alone for Christmas if I really needed to. I want to eat it for dinner!

This one's pretty simple but cute. I just love this paper!

For this one I actually tried out a new technique I'd never done before. I put a piece of score tape sheet over the whole piece of red paper before I die cut it and then peeled off the protective sheet to reveal the adhesive. It made it sooo much easier to add glitter to it with even coverage! I'm also obsessed with this paper.

I don't have much to say about this one, I love the paper but I think I could have done more with the card.

This is just a quick fun one I made to create a card pack of 6.

So this is totally not my style but I actually really like the way it came out. I used materials from a card class I take which has been a great experience for me because it pushes me to use things I wouldn't normally!

Another fun little Christmas card. For some reason I'm obsessed with music note stuff for the holidays, no particular reason!
And, you got it, another in the meadow card! Haha! For this one I wanted to make a more non-traditional card so I used Autumn Rose paper and a matching shimmer mist for the bias tape ribbon.

Ok, so this are all from the past week or so, I have like 12 more to post hopefully today. Are you sick of x-mas stuff yet! Luckily I'm not!

and the Christmas creations continue...

Here's a fun little tag set I made using some of my new PTI christmas sets! I love this label saying do not open until Dec 25, so cute!

Ok, I don't think I've been this obsessed with a stamp set! I'm soo in love with this whole "in the meadow" set from PTI. I loved this particular card so much that I made 10 of them! I used some mist to add some shimmer to the background and then I used white flock to add a snow-like effect to the hills.

This card was made using a card class kit I got from Right at Home.

And this one uses some more materials from the card kit but I added in some felt for the poinsettia and the vintage looking post card, I'm loving the vintage christmas look this year that so many companies are putting out.

Twisted Sketches #82- Orange

The twist this week for Twisted Sketches is "orange"! What a perfect time of year to incorporate a little orange into the mix! Some of the leaves have started to turn here in new england and it's been the perfect temperature all week! You can't beat fall! Our neighborhood is filled with pumpkins and various colored mums as well has hay stacks and scarecrows. So cute! Well anyway, head on over to see what the other designers have done and PLAY ALONG!!! =)

birthday card for a friend

I think it's pretty obvious who this is for, no hiding that one! Luckily she doesn't ever look at my blog...i don't think!...so I should be safe! Her birthday isn't actually for another month but I got a little eager I suppose. I totally forgot I bought this basic grey paper pack about three months ago at least and I don't think I've used it even once yet! I also forgot about my alpha blocks from PTI and I love putting people's names on cards when I think of it, especially for birthdays. I happen to find this cute little button in my stash and it actually has every color on the card on the button, amazing! I love when stuff like that happens!

More X-mas creations!

Here are some fun tags I came up with:

And here are a few more cards...

This one above I had a lot of fun making! I used a versamark pen to trace the outer edges of the marshmallows and then used glittery white embossing powder. For the jar I used glossy accents and covered the entire jar to make it look like real glass. I'm not even sure if I like the card, but at least I had fun right?!

Twisted Sketches #80- Happy

This week's twist was "happy" so I put a little spin on it and used the sentiment "smile" which I associate with being happy! It's hard to tell in this horrible picture, but the ribbon and outer border are red, I know they kind of look pink in this pic! Check out what the other designers did at www.twistedsketches.org!

Christmas sweat shop

I feel like I'm an elf working in a Christmas card making sweat shop this weekend! Here are some of them and I didn't even take the time to take this pics in my normal spot because that's downstairs which would have taken too long! These are all for the pop up shop my cards will be sold at in November in Princeton, MA.

Fall is Here!

So I told you I've been busy making cards! Here are a few fall inspired cards I made last week- two of which are for friends who both just bought a house. The materials are all from a monthly card class I normally take (but haven't made it in a couple months due to wedding/travel mania).

Twisted Sketches #78- Verse

Oops, looks like I'm a little late on this post! About a week late! The twist last week over at twisted sketches was Verse so I chose a verse from a song- "let it snow, let it snow, let it snow". I've been in full blown Christmas card making mode for the past several weeks so it was a given that this would be Christmas themed too! I've been terrible about posting my latest creations but I'll try to get some up this weekend!

Twisted Sketches #76- Paper

This week's twist at Twisted Sketches was "Paper" so I decided to make everything out of paper- even most of the sentiment! I added some stitching and glimmer mist too! So I know I've been totally MIA lately! I've been traveling literally every weekend for the past month or so and will continue to do so for the next month or so...so needless to say this is only a brief appearance back into the light! But- I'm hoping that will all change come mid-October! I will say I've been squeezing in some Christmas cards here and there because I'm partaking in Holly Days in Princeton, MA during Thanksgiving so hopefully I'll get some time to post some pics of those soon. In the meantime my crafty friends, head over to Twisted Sketches and play along! PS- there's a linky feature now to make it even easier to participate!
