Mojo Monday #228

This is a somewhat loose interpretation of the sketch over at Mojo Monday. Once I got started the card took on a life of it's own! I was playing with a bunch of techniques which I'll show you below.
For the frame I covered with with sand colors paint dabbers, then sprayed it with walnut ink. Before it could dry I added clear crackle paint to the top.


For the flower I used crocheted ribbon and ran a thread through the edge of it, pulled it tight, then tied the two ends together to form a flower.

For the damask design on the paper, I used chalk ink with a stencil to add the pattern. Then sewed the edges of the card and distressed the edges.
